This is our dear friend Pen-Man, who is in desperate need of a new name. He feels his current one is a bit... redundant, but he can’t think of any better ideas. And that is where you come in! He wants all of you to write in the comments down below any ideas you have that might fit him. 💭

But before you can start your brainstorming, Pen-Man insists you should know a bit about himself and where he came from. You must get to know him first to find a name that best encompasses his personality! 🖋️ Pen-Man is an old-fashioned soul, but he is never one to turn down an opportunity to learn something new. He always tells us stories of times long gone, when he was the right-hand man of writers such as Poe and Faulkner, readily working until the early hours of the morning. He has memories of mahogany wardrobes, quill pens and golden and brazen instruments. His mind longs for the smell of ink and freshly rolled rag paper.  But because he cannot return to those beloved times, he has since been spending his time around the Faculty of Foreign Languages to help all those in need. After all, he knows how difficult coming up with new ideas can be! His excitement to create is just as vibrant as ours, which is why he wanted to include his closest friends in this decision. Let us know in the comments what name you think fits him best; he will sure appreciate it! ✍🏻

The official launch for STAMPED, University of Bucharest’s Creative Writing Magazine will take place on ✒️June 12, 2PM-5PM 👀 It will be hosted by the Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission (Str. Ing. Nicolae Costinescu, Bucharest).

We cannot wait to see you there, and we’d like to thank the Commission for their help. We hope our work will surprise and please you all, as it did with us. ✨

📦 Starting with today, those of you who are interested in coming to STAMPED launch (more details 🔜), can participate in an exciting Book/Art Collection!

🎨 You can find the box at Pitar Moș 7 street, FLLS, in Room 4 (the American Studies library, 1st floor). We accept and encourage you to donate from books, art/writing supplies to other creative knick-knacks of your choice. We plan to use these resources for a mystery raffle dedicated to fundraising during the launch.

👀 If you want to take part in this activity, you can come and leave your donations in the box until June 7.
